Project Manager

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our small electrical engineering team at our premises near Nottingham city centre. You will be working with our team of Power Electronics engineers to plan, schedule, and deliver multiple projects concurrently. In return you will receive a competitive salary £33-£36k pa (DOE), ongoing training, enhanced holiday allowance, private health plan and pension (after qualifying period).

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop initial budgets and detailed project plans.
• Monitor project performance, ensuring adherence to timelines and specifications.
• Keep documentation up to date and operate within our ISO9001 process framework, maintaining high standards across all projects.
• Produce and submit regular project status reports to partners, management, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with internal processes and audits to ensure quality control (ISO9001)

Essential Skills & Experience:

• A BSc/BEng/BA or equivalent
• Experience in managing and delivering projects and strategic tasks.
• Working in a technical or engineering environment.
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in IT usage (Office Package)

Desirable Skills & Experience:

• A degree or background in engineering or electronics.
• Working on government or other agency funded projects. (UKRI, Innovate, APC etc).
• Project management certification.
