TTPi has been named as a finalist in the Innovation Awards 2025

We are proud to share that TTPi has been named as a finalist in the Innovation Awards 2025 in the category Engineering Innovator of the Year.

As a spin-out from the University of Nottingham, TTPi is transforming the world of power electronics with cutting-edge technologies that make electric systems more efficient, compact, and sustainable. 

Our nomination highlights several key achievements: 

• Ultra-compact, high-efficiency power converters and motor drive systems that significantly reduce size, weight, and material usage – critical for electric vehicles, aerospace, and renewable energy sectors. 

• Breakthrough motor controller technology that is now being adopted by EV manufacturers to extend battery range, boost system reliability, and enhance robustness. 

• Our innovations are enabling cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable energy and transport systems. 

About the Innovation Awards 

The Innovation Awards shine a spotlight on organisations across the UK who are redefining what’s possible through innovation. TTPi is honoured to be recognised among the top innovators shaping the future across fields such as engineering and sustainability. 

Finalists were selected based on their impact, maturity of innovation, and contribution to wider industry goals – such as net zero, efficiency, and smart systems. 

Winners will be announced at the Innovation Awards Ceremony on 21st November 2025.
